Where to place table tents so they actually get read
Table tents work, but only in the three places where a patient is already waiting with nothing to do.
- The exam room, on the counter beside the sink. Average wait: four minutes of undivided attention.
- The checkout counter, angled toward the patient. Not flat — angled. Flat cards get read half as often.
- The restroom, at eye level. Unglamorous, and consistently the highest-recall placement clinics report.
Skip the waiting-room coffee table. Patients scroll their phones there.
Rotate the card every six weeks so staff and regulars do not stop seeing it.
